The legendary crystal blacksmith ANDURATH forged these weapons from the shards of GURAMM, a piece of doomed dark crystal which as used in an attemp to assasinate ANDURATH's only true friend, a wise millenium-old tree bark, SADUR'TH, who lives deep in the dark forest of KERANORTH, at the foot of mount KERA, the breast of GAIA.

The crystal dagger made from GURAMM, stabbed SADUR'TH in his root, rendering the wise tree to madness, luckily ANDURATH came to visit, thus with his crystal forging hammer, HAMADD, he knocked the dagger off and shatter it into pieces. But it was too late, the madness poison had lessened the prolonged life of SADUR'TH.

In his anger he tempered a piece of GURAMM, and in the blindness of forging he cut himself, a drop of blood fell on the GURAMM, and the crystal turned red, flaming in fire of anger. Alas, the blade itself was so hot even ANDURATH himself cannot hold the crystal. 

In despair, he turned to another piece of crystal, in bitterness of failure and vengeance, a drop of tear fell on the crystal, giving it a life of cold frost, again ANDURATH cannot endure the freezing aura that the crystal emmited.

As all hope is lost, he consult his efforts to SADUR'TH, as the purpose of forging these crystals revealed. ANDURATH wishes to hire an assasin to return the favor to his apprentice. he wishes that his envious apprentice's death is done by the very weapon that ANDURATH reforged, the two blades of GURAMM.

SADUR'TH, in his wise, calmed ANDURATH, and in his words, resides the anger he felt, by making ANDURATH to make an oath, never to shed blood in SADUR'TH's name, in return he shed a piece of WHITE WOOD, a pure form of SADUR'TH's soul, this wood then crafted into two handles, which enabled both failed forged crystal to became two legendary weapon, the fire katar and the ice katar.

My second attempt on 3ds MAX 7 to do this weapons thing. :)  And it came along with an urge to tell stories, if you dont like it, then just delete it.  :p
