Playstation 3
User Interface
1.
The hero is moved using the left analog stick (your hero will run in the
direction you move the stick). The camera can be continually adjusted
using the right analog stick. Clicking the right analog stick will
automatically align the camera to the north. Clicking the left stick
will display information about your latest enemies, as well as
additional information such as health and experience points (XP).
2. The minimap has a north
pointer which moves according to the facing of the hero (this is
optional and can be changed in the Options menu). Important NPCs (questgivers,
blacksmiths, traders…), towns, villages, dungeon entrances and nearby
enemies are displayed on this minimap with various colors and icons.
3. At the outer edge of
the minimap quest-pointers will be displayed showing the general
direction of active quest destinations. Important NPCs and locations are
also indicated here.
4. The portrait of the
hero clearly displays the hero’s current level, health (red) and XP
progress (yellow). The portrait area will flash a warning if health
drops below a certain amount.
5. Players can bind Combat
Arts (special skills and magical abilities) and weapons (including dual
swords and weapon/shield combinations) to the face buttons. Toggle the
face button content by using the left and right analog shoulder buttons
to gain access to a different bank of 4 slots – this allows a total of
12 actions to be configured to the face buttons.
6. The D-pad (located next
to the left analog stick) is bound to the following actions: – “up” =
“god spell”, while the other directions can be used for potions.
