Mounts
|
Across Ancaria you will find many horse dealers. They offer all kinds
of animals, from the simple nag up to a real war horse. You can equip a
war horse with bridle, saddle and even special armor. These special
mount items can be found in the game just like player items, ranging in
quality from regular to rare and even unique items. |
In addition, every character also has a unique mount created
specifically for their character class. This mount not only fits the
personality of the character, but also complements the various aspects
of the character's playing style perfectly.
Some mounts offer the player a higher travel speed. All mounts supply
the mounted hero with additional bonuses, which are mostly defensive.
Certain mounts are even capable of improvising and adapting some of the
player's combat arts!
Players can fight while mounted or not, and each method offers a
different tactical approach. The choice of whether or not to ride will
be made by players for many different reasons, and we will insure that
Sacred 2-Fallen Angel offers players that choice.
SPECIAL MOUNTS
The special mount of each character class is designed
specifically for that class. Each mount comes in a variety of
colors and their attributes changed depending on what color you get.
There is a mount for each of your character's three Aspects as well as a
fourth mount that increases a few of your skills, which skills is
different per mount type.

Hellhound
The Shadow Warrior has a
special mount at his command: the Hellhound. It is slower
than a horse, but much stronger in close combat. When the
Shadow Warrior rides the Hellhound, it is able to adopt some
of the fighting skills of the Shadow Warrior very
effectively. It will attack with bites and kicks, and
‘Ruinous Onslaught’ will become far more devastating from
atop the Hellhound.
The Hellhound will
increase protection values for some combat arts while others
will be more effective, and it also provides increased
mobility. In spectral form, the Hellhound becomes invisible,
which can provide many advantages for tactical approaches in
battle. Therefore, the Hellhound is an indispensable
companion for the Shadow Warrior.

Mobiculum
"All characters except for the Temple Guardian have a
"biological" special mount. He on the other hand uses a
modern, T-Energy powered monowheel, a machine that is as
imposing as it is dangerous. The Temple Guardian can use his
combat arts even when sitting inside the Mobiculum." |
|
Monitor
Lizard
"The Dryads respect
nature and ever since the Great War they have hated
T-Energy. It makes sense that their special mount is a
Monitor Lizard because these giant lizards compliment the
Dryad's preference for ranged weapons very well."

Sabertooth
Tiger
"The Seraphim may look
like an angels, but their mounts have nothing angelic about
them. Their large fangs not only look dangerous, but are
indeed deadly weapons."

Shroud
Spider
"The dark powers have
provided a very special mount for the Inquisitor. He rides
on the back of a large dark spider while weaving his
powerful spells."

Wind
Serpent
"The Wind Serpent would
seem almost cute, if it weren't for its glowing eyes. The
Wind Serpent's appearance is not as commanding as that of a
Dragon, but its powers are no less terrible."
