Alchemist:


Drawn to the power of Ember as a cornerstone of his magical art, the Alchemist came to Torchlight for his own ends. Being the largest cache of Ember ever found, the temptation may lead the Alchemist never being able to break free of its influence and ultimately to his downfall. The power of Ember is beyond imagining, but the price is very high.

By channeling the power of Ember, the Alchemist is able to dispatch enemies from afar as well as summon minions to his aid.

Beginning Magic Lore Increases the damage dealt by all types of magic.
Meditation Improves the regeneration rate for all spells.
Level 5 Fire Magic Improves the regeneration rate and casting times for Fire spells.
Earth Magic Improves the regeneration rate and casting times for Earth spells.
Water Magic Improves the regeneration rate and casting times for Water spells.
Air Magic Improves the regeneration rate and casting times for Air spells.
Weapon Lore Opponents suffer more damage from close and ranged combat attacks.
Sword Lore Increases the speed and effectiveness of attacks with swords.
Long-handled Weapons Increases the speed and effectiveness of attacks with long-handled weapons.
Riding Enables the riding of superior horses.
Level 10 Agility Increases defense and attack values during combat.
Level 15 Trading Merchants will offer their good cheaper and are more likely to offer special items.
Level 20 Constitution Increases life energy and improves it's regeneration rate.
Level 25 Disarming Increases the chances of disarming opponents during combat.
Level 30 Parrying Attacks can be parried (deflected) with weapons and shields.
