GOD WAS AT THE PENTAGON AND TWIN TOWERS
In an instant God grasped them amid their known distress.
Saying child I am taking you graciously to your home and final rest.
You will not know or feel the pain-
of what the terrorists had hoped to gain.
While jumping out of windows, I heard your cry,
caught you in my arms, gave comfort in your sigh
when families and friends awaited your fate,
I gloriously blew the flag of the United States.
In your solemnity, sorrow, and many tears,
the red, white, and blue will settle your fears.
This act of hatred, of evil, of guile,
I do not honor or smile.
Patience is all I ask of you,
love and cherish in all you do.
Charity for all mankind is your utmost goal,
and you shall remain the victor of all that unfolds.
What happened to those who knew not my name?
I gathered them in my bosom without any blame.
I caressed those who fell, easing their pain.
The terrorists were failures in their dastardly fame.
Flying high in the skies of blue,
The victims were taken with a love so true.
The mighty flight of 93,
went down with heroism and victory.
Fear not tomorrow or any day,
together we unite, together we pray.
The United States is what we hail,
and to this end,we shall prevail.
