Win 2000 available?

Postby Lester » Sun 2009 Jun 14 2:46

Had a major crash and have a new hard drive I will install and needed to know if I can purchase a used OS Windows 2000 anywhere or is it not ethical or not legal to do so? Since it is so old I thought there may be a better chance I could locate one. As you recomended my comp can't handle any more than Win 2000 so didn't see any point in updating this comp. Thought I would keep looking. Anyone help? Down completely. :rofl1:

The only place I can think of to get a copy of Win2K would be either from Microsoft directly (not too likely) or convince the CHPCUG to reinstall it for you. They have licensed copies they use to build computers.
