Administrative PW Cracker

Anybody know of or used a proven freeware Adm. PW Cracker they could refer? A friend gave me a laptop, and the register has been corrupted. He set, but can't remember his Adm. PW and I need to get around it to repair registry? I think there may be another way to access in W XP Home Ver.?

You can try contacting the OEM to see if they may be able to help you. I prefer not to discuss Malware in this forum and password crackers are considered Malware.
