Help vundo trojan

My wife's pc has been infected with a vundo trojan. I can't seem to remove it. Any help? I found this

but when I try and run it it says:
R6034
An application has made an attemt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application support team.

Sorry, I don't know how I missed this post. I would suggest contacting Symantec directly as it appears your AV program may have a problem. When I click on the link (something I do not normally recommend my students do) I am sent to a Symantec site explaining about the Trojan and offering a removal tool.

I'm hoping you have already done this and you problem has been resolved. Please post in here to let us know.
