For years we've taken one copy of an OS, and put it on many machines - we've done the same with applications.
G-d forbid a vendor should try to protect their rights - although Dell is a tad on the "duh" side by not providing the EULAs.
Most users, it seems, want a free-ride - they'll pay $20,000/$30,000/or more for a car, yet g-d forbid they can not use their $55/$95/$195/$495 program on all the machines they want!
