Audio Driver Disappears

Postby Lester » Fri 2006 Feb 17 3:55

OK it's a long story. Short. Lost audio driver. Told me to reinstall Win 98SE original disk. Did so. Message came up said; file 'ksclockf.ax' on Win 98SE cannot be found. Set up could not finish opening a file on the source disk. Tryed it four times. Other option button, Skip File, I hit it 40 times. :pchamm: Was hot. Next sign said: Finished. And the driver returned. Do these programs like to run off? And now I can work on notepad and listen to my favorite's at the same time. Bout as good as it gets. Until the next breakdown. Is there any explantion for the disappearance?

The above link may help answer your question. In order to find it, I simply did a google.com search for ksclockf.ax and looked until I found something that actually looked helpful. ;)

Thanks, Looks like a good lead. Will study. :nerd: I'm going to try to enjoy it before it decides to disappear again.
