You could try to clean the print path. Usually paper doesn't feed properly because ink or other debris has built up somewhere in the paper path. My daughter has a fairly new printer that stopped feeding paper. Upon looking at it, I determined that it needed a new feed roller.
It would cost more for parts and labor to fix it than for her to buy a new printer.
I may eventually fix it just so I know I can but no, when the ink cartridges cost more than the printer, it's better to just buy a new printer.
Having said that, you can always take it to Best Buy to see what they say. I have a feeling they will say the same.
