Mystdale Side Quests
Dragon Egg:
This isn't really a quest since it doesn't appear in your Quest Log, but it is a very useful bonus. It starts with a merchant who is standing next to the bridge North of town:

When you speak to him he will offer to sell you a Dragon Egg, it will cost you 1,000 gold:

Accept to buy the Egg which will only appear in your Quest Item Log:

You now have a few choices on what you want to do with it...
-
You can use it as a shortcut to completing the Egg Thief quest from Alkazaba Noc Draco.
-
You can sell it to a man who will appear in Mystdale once you buy the egg.
-
You can give it to Loromir the good dragon from Drakenden.

Below I will show method 2 and 3 since the entire quest tutorial for method one is already written under the Alkazaba Noc Draco quests:
Sell it to the man in Mystdale:
If you go back to Mystdale you will now find a man standing inside the large castle like building in the center of town:

If you choose to Accept he will pay you 18,000 gold (that is a 17,000g profit!). Speak to him again:

Ewwwwww!
Give it to Loromir:
If you go North to Drakenden you can give the Dragon Egg to Loromir by clicking on him:

He will give you 5,500 gold (which is still a 4,500g profit) and some experience. The experience amount changes per difficulty level for example: Bronze- 4,180 exp. and Silver- 8,360 exp.
